Pre + Post-Natal Fitness

Updated: Apr 22

At In Bloom Barre and Wellness, we’re all about movement that feels good, supports your body, and helps you build strength from the inside out.

Our Expertise

We are particularly focused on understanding women's bodies and helping them feel strong through all phases of life. In addition to Foundational Barre Training, all of our instructors are also proudly trained in BarreAmped’s® approach to core and spine health, as well as the Pre + Post-Natal Program to help you improve posture, build deep core strength, and move with more ease during all of those phases.

BarreAmped® instructors undergo comprehensive training aimed at continually improving their clients' form and results. This training not only focuses on effective movement but also emphasizes the importance of maintaining lifelong mobility.

To get maximum amped up results and to stay safe, BarreAmped® classes are taught with an emphasis on form. From the foundation up, a client works at her (or his) own maximum in order to achieve both mental and physical benefits from the first class. From its inception, a neutral spine position has been paramount in the BarreAmped® method. With a team of experts in the fields of anatomy, biomechanics, and physical therapy, BarreAmped® continues to evolve and remain a forerunner in the fitness and movement world.

Building Strength During and After Pregnancy

Pregnancy and childbirth are incredible, but they also bring big changes to your body—especially to the core and spine. Many women experience a weakened core, lower back discomfort, or issues like diastasis recti after giving birth. That’s why gentle, intentional movement is key to healing and rebuilding strength safely.

Having a knowledgeable, experienced instructor guide you through movements, cue by cue, and watch your form with a keen eye allows them to make adjustments when needed and ask for feedback about your body connection to help you feel reassured as you workout through pregnancy and beyond. Pregnant clients may choose to workout alongside everyone else with appropriate modifications all the way up until delivery, and may return to workouts as early as six weeks post-partum, with doctor's approval.

By focusing on proper core engagement, breathwork, and spinal alignment, we help women reconnect with their deep core muscles, improve stability, and regain confidence in their movement. Whether you’re newly postpartum or years past pregnancy, understanding how to support your core and spine can make a world of difference in how you feel day to day.

No matter where you are in your movement journey, we’re here to guide and encourage you every step of the way.

We can’t wait to move with you! Barre Foundations is a great place to begin!
