Everything you need to know

Before your first class:

What is In Bloom Barre and Wellness?
In Bloom is a wellness studio in Cookeville, TN offering barre fitness classes, holistic health coaching, self care products, and unique, exclusive activewear.

Where are you located?
Cookeville's Historic Westside, 44 W. Broad St in one of the area's historic buildings. From the hundred year old tile floor, exposed brick, vintage ceiling, floral art, arched mirrors and swanky art deco chandeliers, we hope you feel incredibly special, inspired, and cared for as soon as you walk through the doors-- kind of like a visit to a luxury spa instead of a gym.

Can I just walk in for class?

While you may be able to walk in and find a spot in class, making a reservation online and filling out your health form before class will save time and guarantee that there is a spot for you.

What should I bring?
Just bring yourself and wear something you’re comfortable moving in. We have mats and props available at the studio. All classes are done with bare feet or sticky socks (Barre Bounce- bare foot only). We keep our studio floor a shoe-free zone. You can place your shoes in the client area in the back of the studio.

Which class should I try as a beginner?

Barre Foundations is a great starting point to learn positions, form, and alignment, and get a great workout. You'll build strength and leave feeling stretched and calmly energized. Barre 101 is a special series that pops up at different times throughout the year. It's perfect for anyone that wants a class specifically paced for beginners. Barre Flow, Barre Bounce, Barre FOUNDATIONS+, and Barre Bootcamp are all open to any fitness level, but you'll get a lot more out of them if you start with Barre Foundations and lock in your form and understand how we move. *Barre Fire is an advanced class- try 10 Barre Foundations classes before booking this class.

Classes + Membership

What types of classes do you offer?
We offer a variety of barre-based classes that blend strength, mobility, and mindful movement. Our classes are low-impact but high-reward and are designed to meet you where you are—whether you're a beginner or an experienced barre baddie.

Do I need prior experience to take a class?
Not at all! All fitness levels are welcome. Our instructors offer modifications and guidance so you feel supported every step of the way. The only class we suggest working up to is Barre Fire, as it includes advanced positions that require, not only stamina, but an understanding of the proper form for positions.

How do memberships work?
We offer monthly memberships and class packages to suit your needs. Choose the plan that works best for you, whether it's an unlimited monthly membership or pay as you go passes.

Can I cancel or reschedule my class reservation?

Yes, as long as it's at least 2 hours before the class start time. After the two hour window, there will be a $10 late-cancel fee or a $15 no-show fee. We recommend the Fit app for managing class passes and reservations, as it allows you to reschedule and track reservations more easily.

Do you offer more personal guidance?

Yes! You can book a Private Movement Session, or add a 3 month private coaching package to your membership for $75mo. The coaching package walks you through setting attainable lifestyle goals and supports you with resources, personal check-ins, and goal tracking.

The In Bloom Experience

What’s the vibe like?

Intentional, encouraging, joyful and down to earth. We’ve created a space where you can be yourself, breathe deeply, move freely, and grow stronger. While it's a great place to be social and meet or make new friends, class time is more focused so that clients can achieve and maintain proper mind-body connection.

What do you sell?

Our retail space features a curated selection of products—from self-care tools to active wear, protein snacks and thoughtful gifts. We have great "clean ingredient protein drinks and snacks to make sure you're fueled to move and recover, Eleve sparkling water with adaptogens for health benefits, Chlorophyll Water, and Alkaline Electrolyte water to stay hydrated. You can shop and check out in the studio using our online store or the shop page in our app.

Is this a women-only studio?

While we are women focused, we intend for our atmosphere to be family friendly. If your spouse or friend or teenager can benefit from class, bring them! Essentials and Premium Members get monthly guest passes to share, or they can purchase a single drop-in or class package.

Where do I park?
Parking is available in front on W. Broad St, but the parking lot behind the studio may be more convenient. Just look for our back door with the number 44 and our name on it! Clients typically prefer to come in the back.
